Fox (upper-body) has been placed on IR.

Fox fell awkwardly onto his left arm in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the New York Islanders, exiting the contest in the third period with 17:48 time-on-ice. He has been placed on Injured Reserve and will not be eligible to return until, at earliest, March 5th against the Washington Capitals. Before his injury, Fox was riding a seven-game point streak, accumulating eight points (2G / 6A). In a corresponding move, the Rangers recalled Matthew Robertson from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL).

Hughes (lower-body) is a game-time decision in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Hughes missed Vancouver's final four games before the break for the 4Nations Face-Off and has not played two straight since the NHL resumed it's activities, but he could return on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 25-year-old Hughes is amid another Norris trophy caliber season, posting 59 points (14G / 45A) in 47 games.

Nylander (undisclosed) did not practice on Wednesday but is a possibility to play on Friday in New York.

Nylander played 21:21 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win against the Boston Bruins but did not touch the ice in overtime and subsequently did not practice on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old Nylander has 58 points (33G / 25A) in 58 games this season.

Tanev (upper-body) is expected to be out on Friday vs. New York but is only considered day-to-day.

Tanev was injured early in the first period of Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Boston Bruins, exiting the game after only 0:49 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. He is not expected to play on Friday but is day-to-day and should not miss significant time. The 35-year-old Tanev is averaging 19:48 time-on-ice, recording 17 points (2G / 15A) and 151 blocks in 57 games this season.

Josi is continuing to be evaluated for an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.

Josi suffered an upper-body injury after receiving a hit from Sam Bennett in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Florida Panthers, exiting the contest late in the second period. The 34-year-old Josi has 38 points (9G / 29A) and a career-worst -26 plus/minus rating through 53 games this season.

Roman Josi
Dobson (lower-body) is expected to return in Boston on Thursday.

Dobson has not played since January 20th, missing 11 consecutive games due to a lower-body injury, but will likely draw back into the Islanders' lineup on Thursday against the Boston Bruins. The 25-year-old Dobson has 24 points (6G / 18A) in 46 games this season and will likely reclaim his role on the top powerplay unit, a spot temporarily occupied by Tony DeAngelo.

Tkachuk (undisclosed) will remain out on Wednesday vs. Winnipeg.

Tkachuk was injured playing for the American team at the 4Nations Face-Off and will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 25-year-old Tkachuk is averaging 18:37 time-on-ice, recording 44 points (21G / 23A), 101 penalty minutes, and 188 hits through 56 games this season. His next opportunity to return to the lineup will be on March 1st against the San Jose Sharks.

Nichushkin (lower-body) will return on Wednesday vs. New Jersey.

Nichushkin has not played since suffering a lower-body injury on December 31st. The 29-year-old forward originally was not supposed to be out long-term but suffered a setback, keeping him sidelined for the previous 21 games. Nichushkin has been effective when in the lineup but has had trouble staying healthy, failing to play more than 65 games in each of his previous six seasons. He has 17 points (11G / 6A) in 21 games this season.

Zucker (lower-body) is taking full part in warmups and is expected to play against the Ducks on Tuesday.

Zucker did not practice on Monday but could return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 33-year-old Zucker is amid one of the best offensive campaigns of his career, scoring 44 points (18G / 26A) in 53 games this season. He has eight points (2G / 6A) during a five-game point streak.

Tuch left Saturday's blowout win over the Rangers with an undisclosed injury but he could return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. The Sabres did state post game that they were not "too concerned" about the injury so it is not expected to keep the 28-year-old out long-term. The 28-year-old Tuch is averaging 19:21 time-on-ice and has 43 points (19G / 24A) in 55 games this season.
