Lundell is battling an upper-body injury, and his status for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs is up in the air. The 23-year-old Lundell has 16 points (7G / 9A) in 22 games this season, pacing for a career-high, but has been held off the scoresheet in seven of his last eight.

Lyon (undisclosed) tweaked something at morning skate on Wednesday and will not dress vs. Calgary.

The extent of Lyon's injury is unknown, but he will not be able to suit on Wednesday, resulting in the Red Wings recalling Ville Husso from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) to serve as Cam Talbot's backup. The 31-year-old Lyon has been solid between the pipes for the Red Wings this season, posting a 2.74 GAA and .911 SV% in nine appearances (4-4-0).

Broberg (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice and could play as early as Saturday.

Broberg has missed the last 11 games with a knee injury he suffered on November 2nd. The 23-year-old was a full participant in Tuesday's practice but likely won't play Wednesday in New Jersey. Head coach Jim Montgomery didn't want to speculate on Broberg's return, but it seems it could be as soon as Saturday vs. the Flyers.

Kochetkov (concussion) is out vs. New York on Wednesday but only considered day-to-day.

Kochetkov left Saturday's game in overtime following a collision with Zach Werenski. The Hurricanes recalled Yaniv Perets from Chicago (AHL) on Sunday, who has served as the backup to Spencer Martin since Kochetkov's absence. Martin will likely tend the twine again on Wednesday but the 25-year-old Kochetkov could be ready to suit up this weekend.

Chytil (undisclosed) will travel with New York on their upcoming road trip but is still considered day-to-day.

Chytil exited last Thursday's game after playing 9:37 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury and has not played since. The 25-year-old Chytil has battled injuries the past two seasons but was having a strong 2024-25 campaign with nine points (4G / 5A) in 15 games. Jonny Brodzinski has drawn into the lineup since Chytil's absence.

The Maple Leafs return to action on Wednesday against the Florida Panthers. Before his injury, Matthews was off to a slower-than-usual start to the 2024-25 campaign but had six points (2G / 4A) in his last five games.

L'Heureux (upper-body) left Monday's game vs. New Jersey and did not return.

L'Heureux was on the receiving end of an illegal cross-check from Timo Meier and exited the game late in the third period. Meier was given a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. An update on L'Heureux should be provided ahead of the Predators' next game on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 29-year-old hard-hitting defenseman has battled injuries the last two seasons, limited to 53 and 69 games respectively. In a corresponding movie, Ottawa recalled Donovan Sebrango from the Belleville Senators (AHL).
