Scheifele (personal) will be a game-time decision for Game 6 in Dallas on Saturday.

Kevin Cheveldayoff announced Saturday that Mark Scheifele's father had passed earlier in the morning, and their start center's status would be up in the air for Game 6 on Saturday night in Dallas. The 32-year-old has had a strong 2025 playoffs so far, with four goals, 10 points and a +4 plus/minus in 10 games.

Robertson will be a healthy scratch for Game 6 in Florida on Friday.

Robertson was Toronto's only goal scorer in Game 5, but will take a seat in the press box for Game 6 on Friday in Florida as Pontus Holmberg returns to the lineup. Robertson has only appeared in three postseason games this year, but still has an impressive 2 points (1G/1a) in 3 games played, despite receiving only 9:59 TOI/GP.

Jarnkrok will draw back into Toronto's lineup for Game 6 in Florida on Friday.

Jarnkrok was a healthy scratch for Toronto's Game 5 loss but will draw back into the lineup on Friday as a replacement for David Kampf. The 33-year-old has been held pointless in Toronto's last nine playoff games and will slot back into the third line on Friday.

Kampf is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 6 on Friday in Florida.

Kampf's only playoff appearance was Game 5 vs. Florida, but he will take a seat yet again in the press box as Calle Jarnkrok returns to Toronto's lineup for Game 6. Kampf had five goals and 13 points in the bottom-six role during the regular season but has struggled to find himself in Toronto's lineup for the playoffs.

Holmberg will draw back into Toronto's lineup for Game 6 in Florida on Friday.

Despite only having one assist in 10 playoff games, Pontus Holmberg will draw back into Toronto's lineup on their 2nd line for Game 6 in Florida on Friday as he replaces Nicolas Robertson. The 26-year-old winger set career highs during the regular season with 19 points in 68 games played, but has struggled to find any sort of offence during the postseason with one point in 10 playoff games played.

Nikishin will make his NHL debut in Game 5 in Washington.

Nikishin will slot in for Jalen Chatfield, who is out with an undisclosed injury. Nikishin was Carolina's third-round pick, 69th overall, in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old Nikishin has spent the previous few seasons in the KHL. He scored 46 points (17G / 29A) in 61 games with St. Peterburgh SKA (KHL) this season.

Kapanen is expected to draw into the Oilers' lineup for Game 4.

If Kapanen gets into the lineup, it would be his 2025 Playoffs debut. Kapanen was off the ice ahead of Viktor Arvidsson this morning, so expect him to replace Arvidsson on the fourth line. The veteran winger had 13 points (5G / 8A) in 57 games with the Oilers this season.

Back has one point in his previous seven games and will take a seat vs. Winnipeg for Game 3 as Colin Blackwell steps back into the lineup. The 25-year-old Swedish winger is enjoying his first taste of playoff experience and has two assists and one SOG while averaging 11:23 TOI across eight games played.

Blackwell will draw back into Dallas' lineup for Game 4 on Sunday.

Blackwell has been a healthy scratch for both of Dallas' opening games of their second series but will draw back in for Oskar Back on Sunday for Game 3. The 32-year-old scrappy forward had a massive overtime goal vs. Colorado in Dallas' opening round series, but has done little offensively since that game, with only one point in six total playoff games.
