The Capitals have recalled Michael Vecchione from Hershey (AHL).

Vecchione is a five-year AHL veteran, who has two career NHL games under his belt (both in 2017). The 29-year-old has scored 12 goals with 24 assists (36 points) in 43 games with Hershey this season. He could make his Capitals debut on Tuesday with Lars Eller in COVID-19 protocol.

The Stars have reassigned Riley Tufte to Texas (AHL).

Tufte played in three straight games with the Stars but was sent back to the AHL to make room to call-up Adam Scheel from the AHL. Scheel is needed to serve as Jake Oettinger's backup with Braden Holtby dealing with an injury. Jacob Peterson will replace Tufte in the Stars' bottom-6.

The Islanders have sent Otto Koivula to Bridgeport (AHL).

Koivula was in the Islanders for two of the last three games but was sent to the AHL to make room for Zdeno Chara (upper-body) to be activated from IR. Kiefer Bellows will likely replace Koivula in the bottom-6.

The Flyers have recalled Morgan Frost from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Scott Laughton left Thursday's loss in Florida after falling awkwardly into the boards, so Frost is presumably Laughton's replacement for Saturday's game in Carolina. Frost has split his season between the AHL and NHL, scoring two goals with five assists (seven points) in his 30 games with the Flyers.

The Red Wings recalled Taro Hirose from Grand Rapids (AHL).

With Robby Fabbri out for the rest of the season and Tyler Bertuzzi ineligible to play in Canada, Hirose could get into the Red Wings lineup over the weekend. Hirose has had a terrific year in Grand Rapids, leading the Griffins with 45 points (14G / 31A) in 52 games.

The Ducks have recalled Buddy Robinson from San Diego (AHL).

The Ducks will be without Ryan Getzlaf, Isac Lundestrom and Jakob Silfverberg on Thursday, so Robinson, Danny O'Regan and Vinni Lettieri were called up from the AHL. Robinson has split his season between the AHL and NHL, tallying four points (1G / 3A) in 23 games with the Ducks.

The Ducks have recalled Danny O'Regan from San Diego (AHL).

The Ducks will be without Ryan Getzlaf, Isac Lundestrom and Jakob Silfverberg on Thursday, so O'Regan, Vinni Lettieri and Buddy Robinson were called up from the AHL. O'Regan has played in just one game with the Ducks this season, spending most of the year in San Diego, where he has 11 goals and 15 assists (26 points) in 37 games.

The Blue Jackets have sent J-F Berube to Cleveland (AHL).

Berube had an incredible four-game run while he was with the Blue Jackets, going 3-1-0 with a .924 SV%. With Joonas Korpisalo available to serve as Elvis Merzlikins' backup on Monday, Berube heads back to the AHL, where he is 4-9-4 with a 3.37 GAA and .891 SV% in 17 games.

The Panthers recalled Spencer Knight from Charlotte (AHL).

The Panthers open the week with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday and Knight is expected to start one of those games. With the easier matchup on Monday in Buffalo, it seems likely that Knight will start the front-end of the back-to-back. Knight has gone 7-3-0 with a 2.55 GAA And .917 SV% in 10 AHL games.
