Buffalo has recalled Zac Jones from Rochester (AHL).

With Ramus Dahlin (persona) away from the team, Jones has earned his second call-up of the season but is still awaiting his first NHL action of the season. The 25-year-old defenseman posted career highs in games played (46), points (11), PIMs (24) and SOG (51) with the New York Rangers last season.

Patera has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) under emergency conditions.

Vancouver plans on giving Thatcher Demko a full night off during their upcoming back-to-back and has recalled Jiri Patera from Abbotsford (AHL), likely to serve as the backup to Kevin Lankinen in one of this weekend's games. The 26-year-old Patera has a 3.10 GAA and .894 SV% through five games (1-2-1). with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) this season.

Woll will be assigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) for a conditioning stint.

Woll had been away from the team for nearly the first four weeks of the season, but has been skating with the group over the last two weeks, and fully returned to practice on Friday. The 27-year-old Woll will join the Marlies (AHL) for a conditioning stint before he makes his return to NHL action. He started in exactly half of Toronto's games last season, posting a 2.73 GAA and .909 SV%, and could be poised for similar deployment once he makes his debut.

The Sharks have recalled Ostapchuk from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Ostapchuk was drafted 39th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, but has yet to become a full-time presence at the NHL level. The 22-year-old forward played 56 games last season, split between the Senators and Sharks, but started the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL, where he has three points (2G / 1A) in nine games with the Barracuda.

Del Bel Belluz has been recalled from Cleveland (AHL).

Belluz was drafted 44th-overall by the Blue Jackets in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and seems poised to make his season debut after being recalled from Cleveland (AHL) on Thursday. The 21-year-old forward was productive in a brief 15-game stint with the Blue Jackets last season, scoring eight points (2G / 6A).

Koivunen has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Koivunen has been back and forth from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) this season, but could get another shot to draw into Pittsburgh's lineup after being recalled on Thursday. The 22-year-old Finnish forward has a whopping 11 points (4G / 7A) in six AHL games, but only one point (0G / 1A) in seven games at the NHL level.

Cowan has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Cowan has played 10 straight games for the Maple Leafs, but has been sent to the Marlies (AHL) to get some extra playing time. The 20-year-old first-year NHLer is averaging 12:33 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 10 games. The move corresponds with Scott Laughton being activated from Injured Reserve and drawing into the lineup on Wednesday.

Leskovar has been activated from IR and been assigned to Iowa (AHL).

Leskovar was a sixth-round pick, 174th overall, of the Minnesota Wild in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old defenseman is in his first professional season, but has been limited to only one game with the Iowa Wild (AHL) due to an injury. He scored si points (1G / 4A) in 2024-25 in 35 games with the Brampton Steelheads (OHL).

Heinen has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Injuries to Justin Brazeu and Noel Acciari have allowed Pittsburgh to recall Heinen from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). Heinen has accumulated 241 points (96G / 145A) in 566 career games over the last decade, but was unable to crack Pittsburgh's roster to start the season. The 30-year-old Heinen has 14 points (5G / 9A) in 10 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the AHL this season.

Murashov has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

With Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) placed on Injured Reserve, Pittsburgh has recalled Murashov from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). The 21-year-old Murashov was drafted a fourth-round pick of the Penguins in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He has a 1.73 GAA and .931 SV% in seven AHL games this season (5-2-0).
