Gushchin was the 76th overall pick of the Sharks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He played his first two NHL games last season, tallying two points (1G / 1A) with the Sharks. This season with the Barracuda, Gushchin has 13 points (4G / 9A) in 11 games. In a corresponding move, Oskar Lindblom was reassigned to the AHL.
With Jack McBain (lower-body) out week-to-week, the Coyotes have recalled Kelemen from the Tuscon Roadrunners of the AHL. The 24-year-old Slovak has six points (2G / 4A) in 11 games with the Roadrunners this season and recorded one point (1G / 0A) along with 23 penalty minutes in a 14-game stint with the Coyotes in the 2022-23 season.
With the Minnesota Wild travelling to Sweden as part of the NHL Global Series, the team has recalled Jesper Wallstedt to serve as their third goaltender. Wallstedt, a native of Sweden, was the 20th overall pick of the Wild in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. In eight games with Iowa (AHL) this season (6-2-0), Wallstedt has a 2.01 GAA and .932 SV%.
Domingue served primarily as the backup to Jonathan Quick while with the Rangers but played exceptionally in his only game-action, saving 25 of 26 shots for a 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild. The Rangers do not play again until Saturday, so while this might be a paper transaction, allowing Domingue to get some playing time with Hartford (AHL), it could also be a sign that Igor Shesterkin is nearing his return.
Holmberg has sat as a healthy scratch since being recalled, so he'll swap places with Bobby McMann, who will likely play Saturday for Ryan Reaves.
