Daws has been recalled from Utica (AHL).

Jake Allen (cramping) could not finish Monday's game and was replaced by Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed), who appeared to be in discomfort at the end of the contest. It has since been revealed that Markstrom will be out of the lineup for a few weeks, leaving the Devils' crease to Allen and Daws. The 24-year-old Daws was excellent in a limited stint with the Devils last season, posting a 1.60 GAA and .939 SV% in six appearances (3-1-0).

Duchene (upper-body) left Wednesday’s game vs. Minnesota.

Duchene was on the receiving end of a hit from Minnesota's Jacob Middleton that made contact with his head. The 34-year-old Duchene was shaken up on the play but skated off the ice under his power, although he was not able to return to the game. Duchene has two points (1G / 1A) in three games this season and will create a sizable void in the Stars' top-six if he misses any time.

Nedeljkovic will start against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.

Nedeljkovic had a forgetful outing in San Jose's season-opening loss to the Vegas Golden Knights and will hope for a better result when he returns to the crease on Tuesday against his former team, the Carolina Hurricanes. The 29-year-old Nedeljkovic was stringing together an excellent outing against the Golden Knights before allowing the game-tying goal on a harmless shot from center ice and then turning the puck over in overtime in an eventual 4-3 loss, ultimately allowing four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%). The Sharks enter the action on Tuesday as sizable +239 home underdogs against a Hurricanes team that has outscored their opposition 10-6 through two games (2-0-0).

Gustavsson will start in Dallas on Tuesday.

The Wild will turn back to Gustavsson between the pipes tonight after Jesper Wallstedt got the nod against the Kings on Monday. After posting a shutout in his season debut, Gustavsson struggled in his last outing, stopping just 25 of the 31 shots he faced in a 7-4 loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. He will have his hands full again on Tuesday as the Wild enter action at +175 on the money line.

Filip Gustavsson
Jarry will start in Anaheim on Tuesday.

The Penguins will hand Jarry the reigns between the pipes for the second time this season when they travel to Anaheim on Tuesday. Jarry was sharp in his season debut, stopping 34 of the 37 shots he faced in a 4-3 victory over the Islanders on Thursday. He's a decent bet to stay undefeated tonight as the Penguins enter action as slight underdogs at +120 on the money line.

Tristan Jarry
Hill will start in Calgary on Tuesday.

Hill will make his third start of the young season when the Golden Knights travel to Calgary on Tuesday. The 29-year-old netminder is still in search of his first win of the new campaign after falling 2-1 in overtime against the Kraken on Saturday. It was the second overtime loss in as many outings for Hill, who owns an .854 SV% and 3.24 GAA. He's a good bet to get into the win column for the first time this season on Tuesday, as Vegas enters action at -175 on the money line.

Adin Hill
Daccord will start in Montreal on Tuesday.

The Kraken will turn to Daccord between the pipes for the third time this season when they travel to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on Tuesday. Daccord stayed red-hot in his last outing, stopping 26 of the 27 shots he faced in a 2-1 overtime victory over Vegas on Saturday. Through two starts, the 29-year-old netminder owns a .968 SV% and 0.96 GAA on the season. Daccord and the Kraken enter action on Tuesday at +130 on the money line.

Joey Daccord
Wiesblatt will make his season debut in Toronto on Tuesday.

Wiesblatt will draw into the lineup for the first time this season in favour of Joakim Kemell, who is a healthy scratch. A former first-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Wiesblatt made his NHL debut last season, registering zero goals and one assist in five games for the Predators.

Ozzy Wiesblatt
Bussi will make his Hurricanes' debut in San Jose on Tuesday.

With Pyotr Kochetkov (undisclosed) still sidelined, Bussi will likely tend the twine for his first career start on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, giving Frederik Andersen the night off in the team's third game of the season. The 27-year-old Bussi spent the entirety of the 2023-24 season in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, posting a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 33 games (15-14-3). The Hurricanes enter the action on Tuesday as -244 road favorites against a Sharks team that has scored nine goals through its first two games (0-0-2).
