Blackwood (lower-body) is close to returning but will not travel to Utah for Colorado's game on Tuesday.

Scott Wedgewood has started Colorado's first six games of the 2025-26 season, but Blackwood appears to be nearing a return from a lower-body injury after being sent to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) on a conditioning loan at the beginning of last week. Wedgewood has played well to start the season, but the team will be eager to have the services of Blackwood back in their lineup after posting a 22-12-3 record last season, alongside a 2.33 GAA and .913 SV% last season after being acquired from San Jose.

Hellebuyck was the first goalie off the ice at Winnipeg's morning skate.

After allowing five goals on 32 shots (.865 SV%) in Winnipeg's season-opening 5-4 loss to the Dallas Stars, Hellebuyck has returned to form in three games since, allowing two or fewer goals in three straight (3-0-0), posting an impressive .938 SV%. The 32-year-old Hellebuyck, the two-time reigning Vezina trophy winner, returns to the crease on Monday against the Calgary Flames. The Jets enter Monday's contest as -144 road favorites.

Boeser (personal) has a chance to return in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Boeser did not play in Vancouver's 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday, tending to a personal matter, but could return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 28-year-old Boeser has three points (3G / 0A) and 10 shots through five games this season.

Blueger (undisclosed) is doubtful to play Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Blueger scored a goal in Vancouver's 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday, but also suffered an undisclosed injury and is unlikely to play on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 31-year-old Blueger had 26 points (8G / 18A) in 82 games last season.

Lundkvist (lower-body) has been placed on IR and is considered week-to-week.

Lundkvist left Thursday's game vs. the Canucks with a lower-body injury and did not return. He has not practiced since and will be sidelined week-to-week recovering from a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old defenseman was off to a strong 2025-26, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in four games.

Mikkola (upper-body) practiced in full on Monday and will be ready vs. Boston on Tuesday.

Mikkola exited Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Buffalo Sabres early after only 6:53 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. He was back at practice on Monday and will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. The 29-year-old defenseman has zero points, eight blocks, and five hits in seven games this season.

Hague (upper-body) returned to practice on Monday with Nashville.

Hague was acquired from Vegas in the offseason and then signed to a four-year, $22 million contract by the Predators, but suffered an upper-body injury earlier in the preseason. Hague was originally paired with Roman Josi to start training camp but it's unclear if he will return there when he makes his season debut. The 26-year-old is entering his seventh NHL season after putting up five goals, 12 points and 40 PIMs in 68 games played last season.

Sundqvist (lower-body) has a chance to make his season debut on Tuesday vs. Los Angeles.

Sundqvist suffered a lower-body injury at practice days before the season opened and has been sidelined since. The 31-year-old Sundqvist has 164 points (62G / 102A) in 493 career games. He hopes to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Los Angels Kings.

Askarov will start on Long Island on Tuesday.

The Sharks (0-3-2) continue their search for their first win of the season and hope Askarov can deliver when he tends the twine on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. The high pedigree 23-year-old goalie has struggled early in the 2025-26 season, posting a 6.47 GAA and .833 SV% in two games (0-1-1). The Sharks enter Tuesday's contest as +180 road underdogs against an Islanders team riding a two-game winning streak.

Lindgren (upper-body) will be a game-time decision in Philadelphia on Monday.

Lindgren exited Saturday's 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third period after playing 17:17 time-on-ice. The 27-year-old defenseman is averaging 19:24 time-on-ice, recording one point (0G / 1A) and 14 blocks in five games this season.

Catton was drafted 8th-overall by Seattle in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and will make his NHL debut on Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 19-year-old forward was outstanding in the OHL last season, tallying 109 points (38G / 71A) in 57 games with the Spokane Chiefs.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, a night after an impressive 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, the red-hot Devils, winners of five straight, will turn to Daws between the pipes on Wednesday against the Minnesota Wild. The 24-year-old Daws was excellent in a limited stint with the Devils last season, posting a 1.60 GAA and .939 SV% in six appearances (3-1-0). The Devils enter Wednesday's contest as -129 home favorites against a 3-3-1 Wild team.

With Jacob Markstrom (lower body) out week to week, Allen remains the primary option between the pipes for the Devils and has been stellar when called upon. The 35-year-old Allen is showcasing an impressive 1.87 GAA and .934 SV% in three outings (2-0-0). The 4-1-0 Devils enter Tuesday's matchup as slight +105 road underdogs against a Maple Leafs team that has lost three of its last five (2-2-1).
