Markstrom will start in Colorado on Tuesday.

Given the Devils' eight-game winning streak, the team saw no need to rush Markstrom back into action, serving as the backup to Jake Allen in his return to the lineup on Sunday. That said, he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche and hopes to build on the momentum his team built in his absence. The 35-year-old Markstrom has a 3.89 GAA and .845 SV% in three games this season (2-1-0). New Jersey enters the action as a +143 road underdog against a Colorado team amid a four-game losing skid (0-1-3).

Stolarz will start vs. Calgary on Tuesday.

Toronto has had an inconsistent 4-4-1 start to the 2025-26 season and hopes to start a winning streak on Tuesday, turning to Stolarz between the pipes against the Calgary Flames. The 31-year-old Stolarz has battled through his own adversity this season, posting a 3.31 GAA and .885 SV% in seven games (2-4-1), a far cry from the elite numbers he posted a season ago. Kuemper was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles' morning skate.

After losing five of their first six games (1-3-2) to start the season, the Kings have rebounded nicely, improving to 4-3-3 through 10 games. The 36-year-old Kuemper has a 2.78 GAA and .887 SV% in six games this season (2-2-2). The Kings enter Tuesday's contest as sizable -206 road favorites against a Sharks team that has scored six goals in two of their last three games (2-1-0).
