Kochetkov (lower-body) will not return to Carolina's lineup on Tuesday vs. Vegas.

Kochetkov has been battling an undisclosed injury since the beginning of October and has yet to suit up this season. That said, he is nearing a return and could be between the pipes as soon as Thursday against the New York Islanders. The 26-year-old Kochetkov posted a 2.60 GAA and .897 SV% in 47 appearances last season (27-16-3).

Gostisbehere (lower-body) will return to Carolina's lineup on Tuesday vs. Vegas.

Gostisbehere has been out of the lineup since October 19th but will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights, returning to his spot on the team's top powerplay unit. The 32-year-old defenseman was off to a tremendous start before his injury in the 2025-26 season, scoring seven points (1G / 6A) in five games.

The Hurricanes have outscored their opposition 31-22 through eight games this season (6-2-0) and will roll with Andersen between the pipes on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Andersen struggled in a meeting with the Golden Knights last week, allowing three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) in a 4-1 loss.
