Misa was a healthy scratch in San Jose's most recent game, and will be sidelined for a second straight contest, this time due to injury after leaving practice early on Wednesday. The Sharks have been easing the 18-year-old Misa into gameplay this season, limited to only seven games, scoring three points (1G / 2A).

Ersson (undisclosed) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and has potential to return vs. Ottawa on Saturday.

Ersson has not played since suffering an undisclosed injury on October 28th, but returned to practice on Wednesday and could be back between the pipes on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. Before his injury, Ersson was splitting time with Dan Vladar, who had been terrific and greatly outplayed Ersson. That said, Vladar has struggled in Ersson's absence, which should allow Ersson to continue his push for more playing time. The 26-year-old Erson has a 3.08 GAA and .876 SV% in four games this season (2-1-1).

Dellandrea (undisclosed) will play on Wednesday in Seattle after being questionable earlier in the day.

Dellandrea has played every game for the Sharks this season, but was battling an undisclosed injury after playing 16:09 time-on-ice in San Jose's most recent game. The 25-year-old Dellandrea has contributed five points (0G / 5A) through 13 games in a bottom-six role for the Sharks this season.

Gaudette (upper-body) will return to San Jose's lineup in Seattle on Wednesday.

Gaudette was limited to only 6:39 time-on-ice in San Jose's 6-5 win over Minnesota on October 26th, exiting the contest due to an upper-body injury, and has not played since. The 29-year-old Gaudette has four points (3G / 1A) in nine games this season.

The 31-year-old Brown is averaging 15:47 time-on-ice and has six points (5G / 1A) in 11 games this season and hopes to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens.

Kozak (lower-body) has a chance to return to Buffalo's lineup on Thursday vs. St. Louis.

Kozak has not played since October 24th, recovering from a lower-body injury, but could return to the lineup on Thursday against the St. Louis Blues. The 22-year-old Kozak is averaging 9:52 time-on-ice, recording 19 hits and two goals in seven games.

Faksa (illness) will be a game-time decision vs. Anaheim on Thursday.

Faksa showed no signed of an ailment in the Stars' 4-3 loss to the Florida Panthers on Saturday, playing 11:55 time-on-ice, but did not play on Tuesday in the team's 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers. The 31-year-old Faksa is averaging 12:18 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games this season.

Miller (lower-body) is hopeful to return to Carolina's lineup vs. Minnesota on Thursday.

Miller has not played since suffering a lower-body injury on October 20th, but could return to the lineup on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. The 25-year-old Miller was off to a strong start with the Hurricanes, averaging 23:32 time-on-ice and scoring four points (2G / 2A) in six games while spending some time quarterback the team's top powerplay unit.

Hallander left Wednesday's practice early with an undisclosed injury and did not have an update.

Hallander has spent parts of the 2025-26 season playing alongside Sidney Crosby, and has tallied four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games. It's unclear if Hallander will be able to play when the Penguins return to action on Thursday against the Washington Capitals. If Hallander is unable to suit up, expect Ben Kindel to take his spot on Pittsburgh's top line.

Mateychuk played a season-low 13:01 time-on-ice in the Blue Jackets' most recent game due to an undisclosed injury, and will not play on Wednesday, but is not expected to be out of the lineup for a prolonged period. The 21-year-old Mateychuk was fitting in nicely on the Blue Jackets' top defensive pair alongside Zach Werenski, tallying five points (3G / 2A) in 12 games before his injury. Dysin Mayo will draw into the lineup as Mateychuk's replacement.

Sandin (upper-body) will return to Washington's lineup vs. St. Louis on Wednesday.

Sandin was limited to only 15:01 time-on-ice in an October 21st contest and has not played since. The 25-year-old Sandin is averaging 19:24 time-on-ice and has two points (0G / 2A) through seven games this season. He is expected to play on defensive pair with Trevor van Riemsdyk.

The Penguins have evenly alternated goalie starts through 14 games this season, but will rely on Arturs Silovs for at least the next three weeks, as Jarry has been placed on Injured Reserve due to a lower-body injury. Jarry has played well this season but had a forgettable outing on Monday, allowing four unanswered goals in the third period en route to a 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has a 2.60 GAA and .911 SV% in seven games this season (5-2-0).

Acciari was limited to two shifts in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, exiting the game in the first period after only 1:10 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The 33-year-old bottom-six forward will be sidelined for at least three weeks after being placed on Injured Reserve. He has three points (0G / 3A) in 13 games this season.

Brazeau (upper-body) has been placed on IR and will miss at least four weeks.

Brazeau was off to an outstanding start to the season, scoring 12 points (6G / 6A) in 12 games. The 27-year-old journeyman was en route to proving he belongs in the NHL, but has been sidelined for the previous two games due to an upper-body injury and will miss at least the the next four weeks after being placed retroactively on Injured Reserve.

Hanifin (undisclosed) took full part in warmups and is expected to return to the Golden Knights lineup on Tuesday.

Hanifin has only played one game this season, missing 10 straight, but will likely return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 28-year-old Hanifin played 24:00 time-on-ice in the Golden Knights' season-opener and and is expected to play alongside Zach Whitecloud on the Golden Knights' second defensive pair.
