


Cousins played in the final three games of the regular season but will be scratched in Game 1 vs. Toronto, with Matthew Highmore taking his spot on the fourth-line.

Highmore was a healthy scratch for the Senators' season finale but is expected to replace Nick Cousins on the Senators' fourth line on Saturday. HIghmore had just six points (2G / 4A) in 41 games this season, but was used frequently on the penalty kill (1:22 SH TOI/gm).




Holl will slot back into the lineup for Detroit's regular season finale on Thursday. Jeff Petry will sit in his place.

Vaakanainen will dress in the Rangers season finale after Carson Soucy was a late scratch due to illness. Vaakanainen has two goals and 14 assists in 50 games this season.

Miromanov has not played since March 27th but will draw back into Calgary's lineup for their season-finale on Thursday. The 27-year-old defenseman has nine points (2G / 7A) in 43 games this season.

Officially eliminated from playoff contention, Brzustwicz will draw into Calgary's lineup for his NHL debut on Thursday. Brzustewicz was the third-round pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old completed his first professional season, scoring 31 points (5G / 26A) in 69 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

Officially eliminated from playoff contention, Parekh will draw into Calgary's lineup on Thursday for his NHL debut. Parekh was Calgary's ninth-overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old defenseman had an outstanding third season in the OHL, scoring 107 points (33G / 74A) in 61 games with the Saginaw Spirit.

Officially eliminated from playoff contention, Hunt will draw into Calgary's lineup for his fifth game of the season. The 29-year-old Hunt has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, scoring 48 points (15G / 33A) in 48 games with the Calgary Wranglers.

Officially eliminated from playoff contention, Morton will draw into Calgary's lineup for his NHL debut on Thursday. Morton turned heads in his Senior season at Minnesota State University (Mankato) and earned himself a one-year, two-way contract worth $950,000 with Calgary that started in the 2024-25 season. The 25-year-old undrafted forward scored 45 points (20G / 25A) in 69 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) this season.
