Mac Hollowell has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Hollowell will return to the Maple Leafs after it was announced Rasmus Sandin would be heading to the injured reserve Thursday (neck). Hallowell has played well in his limited showings with the Maple Leafs, with two assists, four SOG and a +3 plus/minus while averaging only 12:56 TOI in the Leafs' bottom-six pairings.

Aleksi Heponiemi has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL).

Heponiemi had a goal and two assists with six SOG across 10 games with the Panthers but will head back down to Charlotte (AHL) Wednesday. Prior to his promotion to Florida, he had five goals, three assists and a +6 plus/minus through 18 games.

Craig Smith has been recalled from Providence (AHL).

Smith cleared waivers and was sent to Providence (AHL) earlier this week but will surprisingly be recalled Wednesday back to Boston. The 33-year-old had a goal, three assists, and six PIMs in 18 games prior to his demotion and should draw back into the Bruins' lineup soon.

Nils Hoglander has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Hoglander had three goals, six assists, 29 SOG and a -4 plus/minus in 25 games with the Canucks but will head to Abbotsford (AHL) in hopes of being called up again later in the season. The demotion is a bit of a surprise after Hoglander played 116 NHL games across the last two seasons.

Samuel Ersson has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Ersson has a 9-8-1 record, .910 SV% and 2.70 GAA with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) but has been recalled Wednesday as it was announced Felix Sandstrom will miss the upcoming road trip due to illness. He will likely make his NHL debut either Thursday or Friday as Philadelphia has a back-to-back situation.

Arvid Holm has been reassigned to Manitoba (AHL).

Holm's NHL stay lasted a total of one day as he dressed and backed up David Rittich on Tuesday. Holm will head back to Manitoba where he was having an impressive season with a 7-3-2 record, 2.55 GAA, and .923 SV%. He will have to wait for his next call-up to make his NHL debut.

Austin Czarnik has cleared waivers and been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Czarnik had two goals, an assist, 13 SOG and a +2 plus/minus through 12 games with the Red Wings while averaging 11:27 TOI but will not head back to Grand Rapids (AHL) after passing through waivers Monday. The 30-year-old heads back to Grand Rapids, where he was dominant to start the year, with six goals, eight assists and four PIMs through his first 12 games.

Nick DeSimone has been recalled from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

DeSimone has four goals and 11 assists, with 18 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 20 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) prior to his second call-up of the season to the Flames. He has also played in four games with the Flames, where he picked up no points, two PIMs and a -4 plus/minus.

Craig Smith has cleared waivers and been assigned to Providence (AHL).

Smith will head back to the AHL for the first time since 2013 after clearing waivers Monday. He will head to Providence (AHL) after putting up a goal, three assists, 23 SOG and six PIMs while averaging a career-low 9:53 TOI across 18 games.

Jordan Gross has been reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).

Gross will head back to Milwaukee (AHL) after a very productive stint with the Predators that saw him pick up his first three career goals, with 20 SOG and a -3 plus/minus while playing 18:49 ATOI nightly in 10 games while playing as Roman Josi's defensive partner. He heads back to Milwaukee, where he had two goals, nine assists and five PIMs in 13 games prior to his previous promotion.

Arvid Holm has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose (AHL).

Holm has been recalled Tuesday to back up David Rittich after having an impressive start to his season in Manitoba (AHL) with a 7-3-2 record, 2.55 GAA, and .923 SV%. If he does see any NHL action it will be his NHL debut.

Rasmus Kupari has been recalled from Ontario (AHL).

Kupari has two goals, three assists, 13 SOG, and eight PIMs through 18 games with the Kings and will head back to the big club from the Ontario Reign (AHL) Monday. In the minors he had five goals, nine points and 22 PIMs in 11 games prior to his promotion.

Akira Schmid has been sent back down to Utica (AHL).

Schmid will head back down to Utica (AHL) after doing a more than admirable job backing up the Devils' crease, posting an incredible 5-3-0 record, 1.96 GAA and .932 SV%. He heads back to the minors, where he was also strong prior to his promotion, with a 2-1-2 record, .918 SV% and 1.97 GAA in a short four game showing.

Arturs Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs has a 9-5-3 record, .887 SV% and 2.92 GAA with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and has been recalled Monday by the Vancouver Canucks to be Spencer Martin's backup. Silovs has been recalled previously in his career but has yet to make his NHL debut so if he does see any game action, he will knock that milestone off his checklist.

Colin Delia has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Delia was excellent in his only game of action with the Vancouver Canucks prior to being reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL) Monday. He heads back to the minors where he had a 5-3-0 record, .884 SV% and 3.44 GAA prior to his previous promotion.

Isaak Phillips has been recalled from Rockford (AHL).

Phillips has been recalled from Rockford (AHL) as a replacement after Jarred Tinordi was placed on the injured reserve Monday (face). Phillips has been having a strong season in the AHL, with three goals, 17 points, 32 PIMs and a +17 plus/minus through 25 games played with Rockford.
