Uvis Balinskis has been reassigned to the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).

Balinskis had a goal, two points, 18 SOG, and six PIMs in 18 games played with the Panthers but has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL) on Friday. The 27-year-old Latvian first-year player has appeared in only one game for Charlotte in his career and scored one goal but will make a welcome sign to the team with his physical presence.

Tye Kartye has been reassigned to the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL).

Kartye's demotion seems to be nothing more than for cap related purposes and is expected to be figured out by early this weekend. The 22-year-old has played well in his first NHL season, with six goals, 11 points, 59 SOG, 25 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus in 30 games played.

Shane Wright has been recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL).

Wright has earned his second call up of the season after a produtive first third of the season with Coachella (AHL) which saw him collect nine goals, seven assist, and six PIMs in 18 games played. The 2022 fourth overall pick has appeared in three games with the Kraken this season, picking up one SOG with limited TOI.

David Rittich has been recalled from the Ontario Reign (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Pheonix Copley went down in practice with an undisclosed injury earlier Friday so David Rittich has been recalled from Ontario (AHL) on an emergency basis. The 31-year-old veteran netminder is In his 9th NHL season and has a 79-51-21 career record with a .904 SV% and a 2.87 GAA. He will likely backup Cam Talbot for the foreseeable future until Copley can return.

Adam Edstrom has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL).

Edstrom had seven goals, two assists, 14 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 21 games with Hartford (AHL) and has earned his first NHL call up Friday. The 23-year-old Swedish forward was the Rangers 2019 sixth-round pick (161st overall) and came over after four seasons with Rogle BK of the SHL in 2022-23.

Jonatan Berggren has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

With both JT Compher (undisclosed) and Klim Kostin (undisclosed) expected to return from the IR Saturday, Jonatan Bergegren was the odd man out of the Red Wings' Roster as he was reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) Friday. The 23-year-old had played well in his seven games with Detroit, with two goals, four points, eight SOG and a +4 plus/minus.

Tobias Bjornfot has been recalled from the Ontario Reign (AHL).

Bjornfot failed to pick up a point in nine games with Ontario (AHL) but has been recalled to Los Angeles for the second time this season. The 22-year-old appeared in one game earlier for the Kings on October 11th and played 10:12 TOI before being sent down to Ontario.

Felix Sandstrom has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and will backup Thursday vs. Washington.

With the news that Carter Hart (illness) will be out Thursday vs. Washington, Felix Sandstrom was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) on an emergency basis and will backup Samuel Ersson. The 26-year-old has struggled mightily this season in the AHL, with a 2-1-2 record, 3.32 GAA and .871 SV%.

Louis Belpedio has been reassigned to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Belpedio had not dressed for the Flyers since November 19th and was reassigned to Lehigh Valley (AHL) on Thursday while Felix Sandstrom was recalled on emergency conditions. Belpedio appeared in 12 games for Philadelphia, with two goals, two assists, 12 SOG, and a +6 plus/minus.

Brett Murray has been recalled from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Murray has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the AHL as Jeff Skinner has been placed on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old Murray has seven points (2G / 5A) and a -7 plus/minus rating in 12 games with Rochester this season.

Brown has been recalled from Providence (AHL) to provide Boston with some center-ice depth as Pavel Zacha has been placed on the injured reserve. The 31-year-old Brown played eight games with Boston earlier this season, scoring one point (0G / 1A).

Jakub Zboril was not claimed off waivers and is expected report to Providence (AHL).

Zboril was Boston's 2015 1st-round pick (13th overall) but had yet to appear for the Bruins in 2023-24 and has cleared waivers and is expeted to report to the Providence Bruins (AHL). The 26-year-old defender played in four seasons for Boston, with a goal, 15 assists, and 28 PIMs in 76 career games. If he is claimed, he carrier a $1.138 million cap hit in 2023-24.
