Rittich is in the starter's crease at the Jets morning skate.

Rittich allowed three goals on 24 shots for his third-straight loss as San Jose got the best of him in his previous start. The 30-year-old Jets' backup has been decent when called upon, with his 9-6-1 record, 2.57 GAA and .906 SV%. He will face the Carolina Hurricanes, who haven't scored in two-straight games but are still third in the NHL in shots per game (35.1).

Moore hasn't played since February 21st due to an upper-body injury but will draw back into the Kings' lineup Thursday as they take on Colorado. The 27-year-old has seven goals, 13 assists, 123 SOG, eight PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 42 games this season prior to his injury.

Andreas Englund will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Detroit.

Englund has three assists, 30 PIMs and 26 SOG through 41 games with both Colorado and Chicago but will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as they take on the Detroit Red Wings. Ian Mitchell's return from injury (hamstring) is the reason for the 27-year-old heading to the press box.

The 31-year-old Alaskan native is expected to start splitting start with the newly acquired Joonas Korpisalo but has a nice 19-4-2 record, 2.79 GAA and .899 SV% in the meantime. He takes on the Washington Capitals, who have won three of their last four games but are 19th in the NHL in goals per game (3.09).
