




MacDermid is a rugged defenseman, who can also suit up at forward for the Avalanche in a pinch. He provides almost nothing offensively, posting just 22 points (8G / 14A) in 171 career NHL games, but brings toughness and flexibility to the Avalanche lineup.

Heineman was originally a second-round pick of the Panthers in 2020. He was traded to Calgary as part of the Sam Bennett trade and then traded to Montreal as a part of the Tyler Toffoli trade. The 20-year-old winger scored 11 goals with five assists (16 points) in 38 games with Leksands IF (SHL) this season.

Knyshov has not play in 2021-22 after undergoing surgery in October and picking up an infection from that surgery. He was ruled out for the rest of the year but still signed an extension and is expected to be ready for 2022-23 training camp.

Trivigno, 23, is a New York native, who just finished up his fourth year at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Trivigno scored 20 goals with 29 assists (49 points) in 37 games this season.

Bourgault was a first-round pick (No.22 overall) in last year's draft and has scored 27 goals with 26 assists (53 points) in 33 games with Shawinigan (QMJHL).

Stastney was a fifth-round pick (No.131 overall) in 2018 and signs his entry-level contract after finishing his fourth-year at the University of Notre Dame. The 22-year-old defenseman scored seven goals with 20 assists (27 points) in 39 games this past season.

Condotta was an undrafted free agent out of UMass-Lowell. The 24-year-old forward had 10 goals with 13 assists (23 points) in 33 games this season.

Perbix was a sixth-round pick in 2017 and signed his entry-level contract with the Lightning following his fourth year at St. Cloud State. The 23-year-old defenseman had 31 points (6G / 25A) in 31 games with St. Cloud State and had one assist in four games with Team USA at the Olympics.

The Maple Leafs selected Kokkonen in the third-round of the 2019 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old defenseman came to North America in 2021, playing 11 games with the Marlies, but has spent all of 2022 back in Finland. He had 15 points (1G / 14A) in 58 games with the Pelicans (Liiga).

Nousiainen was selected in the fourth-round in 2019 and scored four goals with 10 assists (14 points) in 35 games with KalPa Kuopio (Liiga) this year. Nousiainen will report to Ontario (AHL) following the signing of his entry-level contract.

Bussi was an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan University. The 23-year-old netminder went 26-12-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .912 SV% in 39 games this season. He will report to Providence (AHL).

The Hurricanes selected Gunler in the second-round of the 2020 NHL Draft and he has remained in Sweden since then. The 20-year-old had 13 goals with 10 assists (23 points) in 52 games with Brynas IF Gavle (SHL) this season.

Goligoski's extension will take him through the 2023-24 season. Goligoski has tallied 28 points (2G / 26A) in 58 games with the Wild this season.
