Talbot (undisclosed) tweaked something during Friday's practice and will be out on Saturday vs. Toronto.

Talbot returned from a four-game absence on Thursday and saved 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) in a 4-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, but tweaked something at practice on Friday and will not be able to play on Saturday. Ville Husso will get the start between the pipes as Alex Lyon (lower body) is still sidelined.

Smith (lower-body) missed practice on Friday after leaving Chicago's previous game with an injury.

Smith exited Thursday's 5-4 loss to the New York Islanders midway through the third period with a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old Smith has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 26 games while averaging 11:47 time-on-ice.

Stolarz is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Stolarz was able to play the first period of Thursday night's game but was unable to join his teammates for the start of the second due to a lower-body injury. Joseph Woll will likely be exclusively in the crease for the Maple Leafs while Stolarz is injured but the team also recalled Dennis Hildeby on Friday from the Marlies (AHL).

Adding insult to injury, Vladar is day-to-day with a lower-body injury just one day after allowing eight goals on 26 shots (.692 SV%) in an 8-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. If Vladar misses any time, Dustin Wolf will likely take the reins of the crease in Calgary.

Greenway just returned from a 10-game absence due to injury and could be sidelined again on Saturday as he is dealing with soreness. The 27-year-old Greenway is averaging 16:04 time-on-ice, recording six points (3G / 3A) in 18 games.

McMann (lower-body) is hopeful to return to Toronto's lineup on Saturday vs. Detroit.

Maple Leafs' head coach Craig Berube suggested that McMann could return to the lineup as soon as this weekend. Before his injury, McMann was providing decent secondary offense for the Maple Leafs, with his six goals, seven points and 52 SOG in 21 games played this season.

Martinez (neck) has been placed on IR retroactive to December 7th.

Martinez was limited to only 13:53 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's game due to an upper-body injury. He has missed two straight and has been placed on Injured Reserve. The 37-year-old Martinez is averaging 20:05 time-on-ice, recording four points (1G / 3A), 38 blocks, and four hits in 15 games.

Bouchard (lower-body) left Thursday’s game vs. Minnesota and will be evaluated in Edmonton on Friday.

Bouchard suffered a lower-body injury late in the third period of Thursday's 7-1 win over the Minnesota Wild. Before his injury, Bouchard had two assists in 21:22 time-on-ice. There was no update on Bouchard following the game.

McCann (undisclosed) will play against the Bruins on Thursday.

McCann recorded an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers, snapping a season-worst four-game pointless skid, but suffered an undisclosed injury that kept him from practicing on Wednesday. The 28-year-old McCann is averaging a career-high 17:50 time-on-ice and has 24 points (10G / 14A) in 30 games this season.

Hedman (lower-body) is a last minute scratch for Thursday's game in Calgary.

Hedman took part in warmups on Thursday but was a surprise scratch when the Lightning submitted their final lineup shortly after 9:00 pm ET. Steven Santini will draw into the lineup in his place. The Lightning stated that Hedman is day-to-day with the lower-body injury.

Cirelli (upper-body) will play in Calgary on Thursday.

Cirelli returns to the Lightning lineup after missing Tuesday's game in Edmonton due to the lower-body injury. Cam Atkinson will be a healthy scratch in order to make room for his return. Cirelli was red hot before the injury, scoring 20 points (10G / 10A) in his last 19 games.

Lee has been excellent for the Islanders lately but is battling an illness and was considered a game-time decision on Thursday against the Washington Capitals. The 34-year-old Lee has 24 points (13G / 11A) in 30 games this season, including scoring 11 (6G / 5A) in his last nine.
