Savard (upper-body) will not play against the Penguins on Thursday.

Savard was a surprise scratch on Thursday, with his absence not being announced prior to warmups. The Canadiens added that Savard is considered day-to-day with the injury. Jayden Struble will draw into the lineup in his place.

Fabbri (knee) will return to the Ducks lineup on Thursday.

Fabbri hasn't placed since November 10th after underdoing knee surgery and was a surprise addition to the Ducks lineup on Thursday. The nine-year-veteran has just two goals and zero assists in 14 games this season.

Martinez (upper-body) flew back to Chicago to be re-evaluated.

Martinez was limited to only 13:53 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's game due to an upper-body injury. He will miss a second consecutive game on Thursday and is being reevaluated in Chicago. The 37-year-old Martinez is averaging 20:05 time-on-ice, recording four points (1G / 3A), 38 blocks, and four hits in 15 games.

Smith (undisclosed) will return to Chicago's lineup on Thursday in New York.

Joey Anderson will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the New York Islanders, allowing Smith to return from a one-game absence. The 35-year-old Smith has provided depth offense for the Blackhawks, scoring 10 points (6G / 4A) in 25 games this season.

Whitecloud (upper-body) is expected to return to Vegas' lineup on Thursday in Winnipeg.

Whitecloud has been out of the lineup for two weeks but will return to action on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 28-year-old Whitecloud was averaging 17:23 time-on-ice before his injury, recording two points (1G / 1A), 40 blocks, and 33 hits in 21 games.

Bortuzzo (lower-body) did not travel with Utah on their current trip and is expected to be out indefinitely.

Bortuzzo has been in and out of the lineup due to injuries this season. He exited Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Minnesota Wild due to a lower-body injury after playing only 6:57 time-on-ice. The 35-year-old Bortuzzo is averaging 11:03 time-on-ice and has two points (0G / 2A) in 15 games this season.

Faksa (lower-body) is out vs. San Jose on Thursday and considered day-to-day.

Faksa narrowly avoided a dangerous injury on Tuesday but could be back in the lineup as soon as Saturday against the Dallas Stars. In his first season with the Blues, Faksa has seven points (2G / 5A) in 29 games. Mathieu Joseph will draw into the lineup as Faksa's replacement.

Gourde (undisclosed) is day-to-day and not expected to be in Seattle's lineup Thursday vs. Boston.

Gourde was limited to only 11:32 time on ice in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers, exiting after suffering a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old Gourde has 14 points (5G / 9A) in 29 games this season and has been playing well lately, scoring 10 points (5G / 5A) in his last 12 contests.

Carrier (upper-body) has been placed on IR and is still considered week-to-week.

Carrier exited Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators due to an upper-body injury in the third period after playing 15:39 time-on-ice. The 28-year-old Carrier is averaging 20:08 time-on-ice through 28 games, recording seven points (1G / 6A), 49 blocks, 31 hits, and a career-worst -14 plus/minus. He will be out of the lineup on a week-to-week basis.

Josi (lower-body) is day-to-day and will not play on Thursday in Dallas.

Josi suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames and did not return. The 34-year-old Josi is only day-to-day but is a crushing loss for the Predators' blueline. He has 23 points (7G / 16A) while averaging 24:59 time-on-ice through 29 games. With Alexandre Carrier (upper body) also out, and placed on Injured Reserve, the Predators have recalled Kevin Gravel from Milwaukee (AHL).

Gustafsson (concussion protocol) is expected to be out vs. Vegas on Thursday.

Gustafsson exited Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Boston Bruins in the third period after a fight with Trent Frederic. The 24-year-old Gustafsson has only played three games this season, averaging 7:55 time-on-ice. Rasmus Kupari will draw back into the lineup as Gustafsson's replacement.

Dumba (upper-body) is out vs. Nashville on Thursday.

Dumba has already missed eight games this season due to injuries and being a healthy scratch. The 30-year-old Dumba has not acclimated to Dallas' system as anticipated, spending lots of time on the third defensive pair after beginning the campaign playing alongside Miro Heiskanen. Dumba has one point (0G / 1A) and is averaging 15:33 time-on-ice, his lowest total since his rookie season. Lian Bichsel will draw into the lineup for his NHL debut on Thursday, replacing Dumba.

McMann (lower-body) skated in full on Thursday and is close to returning to Toronto's lineup.

Maple Leafs' head coach Craig Berube suggested that McMann could return to the lineup as soon as this weekend. Before his injury, McMann was providing decent secondary offense for the Maple Leafs, with his six goals, seven points and 52 SOG in 21 games played this season.
