Lundkvist is being evaluated for a lower-body injury suffered on Thursday vs. Vancouver.

Lundkvist battled injuries throughout the 2024-25 season, limited to only 39 games, and will hope to receive positive news after being evaluated for a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old Lundkvist is off to a strong offensive start to the 2025-26 season, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in four games.

Borgen (lower body) is expected to lay on Saturday in Montreal.

Borgen was a game-time decision in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but took to the ice, playing a season-low 16:22 time-on-ice. His lower-body injury continues to linger but he will likely stay in the lineup on Sunday against the Montreal Canadiens.

O'Brien (undisclosed) will make his season debut on Friday.

O'Brien was sidelined for most of training camp and missed the first four games of the season but will draw into the lineup on Friday against the San Jose Sharks. The 31-year-old O'Brien appeared in 28 games for Utah in 2024-25, picking up two assists and 50 PIMs alongside 34 SOG. Kailer Yamamoto will be a healthy scratch to accommodate O'Brien's return to the lineup.

Danforth will be out at least one month with a lower-body injury.

Danforth was limited to only 6:14 time-on-ice in Buffalo's most recent outing, exiting the contest with a lower-body injury, and will be sidelined for approximately one month. The 32-year-old Danforth was a lineup regular for the Columbus Blue Jackets the previous two seasons and scored 21 points (9G / 12A) in 61 games last season.

The Kraken have placed Freddy Gaudreau (undisclosed) on IR.

Gaudreau was limited to only 8:02 time-on-ice in Minnesota's most recent game and was subsequently placed on Injured Reserve due to an undisclosed injury. The 32-year-old forward will be out of the lineup for at least one week. He has one point (0G / 1A) through four games this season.

Frederick Gaudreau
Dubois (lower body) was a limited participant in Friday’s morning skate.

Dubois, who missed Tuesday’s game due to a lower-body injury, skated in a non-contact jersey on Friday. His limited participation, combined with the Capitals’ recall of Ethen Frank earlier in the day, suggests that Dubois is unlikely to play tonight vs. the Wild. Still, his presence on the ice is an encouraging sign that a return could be coming soon.

Pierre-Luc Dubois
Borgen (lower-body) is expected to play in Toronto on Thursday.

Borgen showed no signs of an injury in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, playing a season-high 20:32 time-on-ice, but did not participate in practice on Wednesday. His status for Thursday's game against the New York Rangers was up in the air, but it appears he will be able to suit up after taking full part in warmups.

Tkachuk underwent successful thumb surgery and is expected to return in 6-to-8 weeks.

Tkachuk exited Monday's game against the Nashville Predators after only 13:53 time-on-ice. The Senators announced on Thursday that Tkachuk underwent successful surgery on his right thumb and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, a devastating blow for the team's offense. The 26-year-old Tkachuk scored points (0G / 3A) through three games this season prior to his injury.

Brady Tkachuk
Klingberg (lower-body) will travel on San Jose's road trip but is still considered day-to-day.

Klingberg did not practice on Wednesday and is questionable for Friday's game against the Utah Mammoth. The 33-year-old Klingberg has been productive from the blueline early in his tenure with the Sharks, scoring two points (1G / 1A), both on the powerplay, in his first three games. The Sharks recently acquired Vincent Iorio off waivers, and he could draw into the lineup if Klingberg does not play.

John Klingberg
Liljegren (upper-body) has been placed on IR.

Liljegren showed no signs of an injury in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, playing 20:48 time-on-ice, but did not practice on Wednesday and has officially been ruled out for Friday's game against the Utah Mammoth after being placed on Injured Reserve. The 26-year-old Liljegren has zero points and a -2 plus/minus through three games this season.

Timothy Liljegren
Raymond (upper-body) participated in part of practice on Thursday but is still considered day-to-day.

Raymond exited Monday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after only 7:58 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. He did not play on Wednesday, but has skated on his own prior to practice. His status for Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning is uncertain. The 23-year-old Raymond was off to a strong start to the season, with three points (2G / 1A) in three games.

Lucas Raymond
Duchene (upper-body) will be out vs. Vancouver on Thursday.

Duchene was on the receiving end of a hit from Minnesota's Jacob Middleton that made contact with his head in Tuesday's 5-2 win. The 34-year-old Duchene was shaken up on the play but skated off the ice under his power, although he was not able to return to the game. Duchene has two points (1G / 1A) in three games this season and will create a sizable void in the Stars' top-six if he misses any time. That said, Stars' head coach Glen Gulutzan seemed optimistic, stating that Duchene was close to playing on Thursday, but the team is erring on the side of caution.

Matt Duchene
Crozier (undisclosed) will be out Friday and is considered week-to-week.

Crozier exited Tuesday's game against the Washington Capitals due to an undisclosed injury and will be sidelined week-to-week, beginning with Friday's contest against the Minnesota Wild. The 25-year-old Crozier was off to a hot start in 2025-26, scoring three points (0G / 3A) in four games.

Maxwell Crozier
Borgen (lower-body) will be a game-time decision in Toronto on Thursday.

Borgen showed no signs of an injury in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, playing a season-high 20:32 time-on-ice, but did not participate in practice on Wednesday. His status for Thursday's game against the New York Rangers is up in the air. The Rangers recalled defenseman Scott Morrow from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) as a potential replacement if Borgen is not able to play.
