Rousek (head) is day-to-day after getting hit high in practice.

Rousek unfortunately was the victim of a freak injury in Buffalo's practice on Tuesday as he took a stick high and is expected to be day-to-day and miss Wednesday vs. Ottawa. The 24-year-old rookie is still looking for his first goal of the 2023-24 season but has two assists, four SOG, and a +1 plus/minus through nine games this season.

Hedman (lower body) was a full participant in the morning skate and is expected return on Wednesday vs. Boston.

Hedman missed Tampa Bay's previous game due to a lower-body injury but was a full participant in the morning skate on Wednesday and is expected to return vs. Boston. The 33-year-old towering defenseman is back to his dominant offensive ways after an off-season in 2022-23, with 12 goals and 69 points in 68 games played before his injury. Hedman will return to his spot on Tampa Bay's top defensive pairing as well as their top power play.

Point (lower body) was a full participant in the morning skate and is expected to return on Wednesday vs. Boston.

Point missed the Lightning's previous game due to a lower-body injury but was a full participant in practice (including powerplays) and will return on Wednesday vs. Boston. The 28-year-old was on a tear prior to his injury picking up seven points (5G/2A) in his last three games to add to his impressive 80 points (41G/39A) in 70 games played on the season.

Brayden Point
Lauzon (lower-body) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play against the Golden Knights on Tuesday.

Lauzon was initially given a week-to-week timeline but could return from his injury only seven days after his prognosis. The hard-hitting Lauzon has an absurd 321 hits, 97 blocks, and 13 points (6G / 7A) in 68 games this season.

Carter (upper-body) will not play against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.

Carter is battling an upper-body injury and has not played since March 17th, missing three games. The veteran winger has been non-existent offensively for most of the season but has two points (1G / 1A) in his last three contests.

Ekblad (lower body) returned to full practice on Tuesday and is expected to return in the upcoming games.

Ekblad has been sidelined since March 9th due to a lower-body injury and returned to practice in full on Tuesday but is not ready yet for game speed. The 28-year-old Windsor native is expected back in the upcoming games but will see how the next few practices go. His production has taken a bit of a hit in 2023-24 as he has only four goals, and 17 points in 47 games played.

Aaron Ekblad
Zegras (ankle) is expected to return to Anaheim's lineup on Tuesday in Seattle.

Zegras last played in early January and missed almost six weeks earlier with a lower-body injury he suffered on November 7th. The talented Zegras has been limited to only 20 games in an injury-riddled season, scoring seven points (4G / 3A) in a disappointing season riddled with injuries.

Nylander (upper body) will be out on Tuesday in Arizona and is considered day-to-day.

Nylander is battling an upper-body injury and will not play on Tuesday. After a torrid stretch, the best of his career, with 11 points (8G / 3A) in nine games, Nylander has been held off the scoresheet in four straight. He will be replaced by James Malatesta in Columbus' lineup.

Seguin (rest) will be out on Tuesday vs. San Jose after recently returning from injury.

Seguin has played three straight games, scoring four points (2G / 2A), after missing 11 due to a lower-body injury and will return to the sidelines for maintenance on Tuesday. Ty Delleandra will draw back into the lineup in favour of Seguin.

Eriksson Ek (lower body) returned to practice on Tuesday in full.

Eriksson Ek has not played the last five games due to a lower-body injury but appears to be nearing a return to the lineup. Eriksson Ek has been tremendous for Minnesota this season, scoring 60 points (29G / 31A) in 66 games, only one point shy of his career-high set last season.
