Tkachuk (lower-body) is out indefinitely but is expected to return this season.

Tkachuk suffered an undisclosed injury as a member of USA's team in the 4-Nations Face Off. He saw limited ice-time in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Canada and will has been sidelined since. The 27-year-old Tkachuk has 57 points (22G / 35A) in 52 games this season. The team has not provided concrete details on his injury aside from them expecting him back in the lineup before the conclusion of the season.

The Red Wings have placed Andrew Copp (undisclosed) on IR.

Copp was limited to only 10:20 time-on-ice in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild and did not play in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Anaheim Ducks due to an undisclosed injury. The 30-year-old Copp is averaging 14:42 time-on-ice, recording 23 points (10G / 13A) in 56 games this season. In a corresponding move, the Red Wings have recalled Sheldon Dries from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL).

Tuch (undisclosed) left Saturday's game vs. New York and will be further evaluated.

Tuch left Saturday's blowout win over the Rangers with an undisclosed injury and will need to be further evaluated by Buffalo's medical staff. The Sabres did state post game that they were not "too concerned" about the injury so it is not expected to keep the 28-year-old out long-term.
