Husso has been recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL) and will back-up vs. Calgary.

Alex Lyon (undisclosed) tweaked something at morning skate on Wednesday, resulting in the Red Wings recalling Husso to serve as Cam Talbot's backup against the Calgary Flames. The 29-year-old Husso has played two games with the Red Wings this season but has primarily been with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), posting a 1.58 GAA and .944 SV% in five appearances (4-0-0).

Mermis has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) on a LTIR conditioning loan.

Mermis signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Maple Leafs in the offseason but has not played yet in the 2024-25 season due to an upper-body injury. The 30-year-old underwent successful jaw surgery at the end of September. In 47 games with Minnesota in 2023-24, he had three goals, eight points and 33 PIMs.

Dakota Mermis
Rosen has been reassigned to Rochester (AHL).

Rosen made his NHL debut last season, playing seven games with the Sabres, but has predominantly been an AHL player, including scoring 13 points (4G / 9A) in 14 games with the Rochester Americans this season. The 21-year-old Rosen was the 14th overall pick of the Sabres in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He returns to the Rochester Americans (AHL), clearing space for Tage Thompson to be activated from Injured Reserve.

Ruhwedel has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Matt Rempe has been re-assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), allowing space for the Rangers to recall Ruhwedel. The 34-year-old Ruhwedel played one game with the Rangers earlier this season but has primarily been in the AHL, scoring two points (0G / 2A) in seven games with Hartford.

Sebrango has been recalled from Belleville (AHL).

With Artem Zub (fractured foot) being placed on LTIR, Ottawa has recalled Sebrango from the Belleville Senators (AHL). The 22-year-old Sebrango was the 63rd overall pick of the Detroit Red Wings in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He has six points (2G / 4A) in 14 games with Belleville this season and has yet to make his NHL debut.

Poulin has been re-assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Poulin was the 21st overall pick of the Penguins in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old played three games in Pittsburgh last season but spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), tallying 31 points (16G / 15A) in 41 games. In six games with Pittsburgh this season, Poulin averaged 10:06 time-on-ice and scored one point (0G / 1A).

Jost has been reassigned to Chicago (AHL).

Jost has played the previous seven games for the Hurricanes but will return to the Chicago Wolves (AHL). Jost scored three goals and added three assists in 43 games with the Sabres last season. He signed one-year deal worth $775K with Carolina in the off-season.
