Koppanen earned his second call-up of the season from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on Tuesday after putting up five goals, 16 points and 22 PIMs in 49 games in the minors. The 26-year-old towering left-winger has appeared in eight career NHL games prior to the call-up but has failed to score and has an assist and four assists.
Stalock has been reassigned to the AHL as John Gibson is set to return from an illness. In 11 games (1-9-1) with the San Diego Gull (AHL), Stalock has a 3.84 GAA and .892 SV%.
Zack MacEwen exited Saturday's game with a lower-body injury, resulting in Chartier being recalled from the Belleville Senators of the AHL. Chartier has appeared in 34 games for Ottawa this season but has most recently played with Belleville, where he has 10 points (7G / 3A) in 12 games.
Belzile has enjoyed a productive season with Hartford (AHL), scoring 37 points (14G / 23A) in 43 games, earning himself a call-up. The undrafted 32-year-old has played 44 career NHL games, including 31 games last season with the Montreal Canadiens.
Brisson was the odd-man out of Vegas' roster on Monday as Jack Eichel (knee) returned from Injured Reserve and will head back to Henderson (AHL). The 22-year-old made a solid first impression as he kicked off his NHL career with two goals, six points 18 SOG, two PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 12 games played before his demotion on Monday.
Dube has enjoyed a productive season with the Hershey Bears (AHL) and earned his first call-up to the Capitals two weeks ago, but was not able to crack the lineup. In 50 games with Hershey, the undrafted Dube has 34 points (24G / 10A).
Connor Zary is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, prompting the Flames to recall Coronato from the Wranglers (AHL). Coronato was the 13th overall pick of the Flames in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and had a 15-game stint with the team earlier this season, but has spent most of his time in the AHL, scoring 42 points (15G / 27A) in 40 games with the Wranglers.
Guenette played 11:38 time-on-ice for Ottawa on Saturday, recording a +1 plus/minus, two penalty minutes, and two hits. He has been reassigned to Belleville (AHL), where he has 29 points (5G / 24A) in 48 games this season.
Leevi served as the backup to Anton Forsberg over the weekend as Joonas Korpisalo was out of the lineup with an illness. Merilainen has a 3.02 GAA and .904 SV% in 16 games (7-6-1) with Belleville (AHL) this season.
Irwin's demotion to the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) likely suggests that Carson Soucy (hand) is nearing an imminent return to the Vancouver lineup. Irwin has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 46 games with Abbotsford this season.
As expected, Stankoven's "move" was purely financial, and he never actually left the team. The rookie has been excellent in his first four games with the Stars, scoring goals in three straight games, to give him four points (3G/ 1A) to begin his NHL career.
Bains first taste of NHL action is over after a decent five-game showing as he was reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL) on Friday. The 23-year-old undrafted rookie is one of the NHL's most interesting and impressive stories this season but unfortunately, he failed to produce in his short showing with zero points, three SOG, six PIMs and a -3 plus/minus while averaging a decent 12:57 TOI per game.
Zellweger is the likely replacement on the Ducks' blueline for Cam Fowler, who left Thursday's contest in the first period after taking a puck to the face. The 20-year-old Zellweger has 37 points (12G / 25A) in 44 games with the San Diego Gulls of the AHL.
Gruden was recalled earlier in the week but did not crack Pittsburgh's lineup. Gruden played five games with Pittsburgh earlier this season but has spent the majority of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL, scoring 23 points (13G / 10A) in 41 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
