The 29-year-old Husso compiled a 36-32-11 record and an .892 SV% across parts of three seasons in Detroit, and was ultimately the odd-man out in a Red Wings crease that includes Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon. He will likely serve as the backup to Lukas Dostal on Friday night.
