Bobrovsky is expected to start Game 3 vs. the Oilers.

The Oilers have signed Viljami Marjala to a two-year entry-level contract.

Marjala was originally drafted by the Sabres in the fifth round of the 2021 NHL Draft but never signed. Marjala spent the past three seasons in Finland with TPS Turku, posting 29 goals and 72 assists (101 points) in 129 games. In the 2024-25 season, he tied for the team lead with 52 points (8G / 44A) in 54 games.

Nugent-Hopkins is a game-time decision for Game 3 on Monday in Florida.

Nugent-Hopkins missed Sunday's practice with an undisclosed injury and was announced a game-time decision for Game 3 on Monday by head coach Kris Knoblauch. If the 32-year-old is forced to miss any time, it will be a massive loss for a team already missing Zach Hyman. RNH has five goals, 18 points, and 41 SOG in 18 games played this season.

Bobrovsky will start Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Edmonton on Friday.

Bobrovsky was peppered in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, allowing four goals on 46 shots against (.913 SV%) in an overtime losing effort, but will look to right the ship and even the series in Edmonton for Game 2 on Friday. The 36-year-old has produced Vezina-like numbers throughout the playoffs so far, with his 12-6-0 record, 2.17 GAA, .912 SV% and three shutouts. He will look to even the series on Friday and slow down a red-hot Oilers squad that has won its last five games.

Greer (lower-body) will remain out for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Friday.

Greer missed Game 1 due to a lower-body injury and, despite being almost ready to return, will remain out for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final as Jesper Boqvist continues to occupy his spot in the lineup. The 28-year-old Greer had two goals and three points in 12 games prior to his injury.

Despite missing Tuesday's practice, Brown will play in Game 1 on Wednesday. He's had a strong postseason so far, scoring five goals with three assists (eight points) in 14 games.

The Avalanche have signed Brock Nelson to a three-year contract extension worth $22.5 million ($7.5M AAV).

Nelson was acquired from the Islanders in March and had 13 points (6G / 7A) in 19 regular-season games and four assists in seven playoff games with the Avalanche. The 33-year-old will serve as Colorado's No.2 centre in 2025-26 and is signed through the 2027-28 season.

Vancouver has signed Derek Forbort to a one-year, $2 million contract extension.

Vancouver's General Manager Patrik Allvin announced Tuesday that the team had signed Derek Forbort to a one-year, $2 million contract extension. The 33-year-old will look to build off his first season in Vancouver in 2024-25, which saw him appear in only 54 games due to injury but put up two goals, 11 points and 45 penalty minutes.
