Trocheck (upper-body) returned to Rangers' practice in a non-contact jersey on Monday.

Trocheck has not played since suffering an upper-body injury in the second game of the season, but appears to be making strides for returning after practicing in a non-contact jersey on Monday. The 32-year-old Trocheck scored 59 points (26G / 33A) in 82 games last season.

Nylander (lower-body) will return to Toronto's lineup vs. Pittsburgh on Monday.

Nylander has been battling an undisclosed injury, missing the previous two games, but will draw back into the lineup on Monday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 29-year-old Nylander has been excellent when in the lineup this season, scoring a point in eight of nine games, with a total of 15 points (3G / 12A) this season.

The Hurricanes recalled Pyotr Kochetkov from Chicago (AHL).

Kochetkov missed the first month of the season with a lower-body injury, but was assigned to Chicago on a conditioning loan on Friday. The 26-year-old netminder stopped 22 of 23 shots in a win during his only conditioning start. Expect him to make his season debut this week in one of the Hurricanes' four games.
