Bobrovsky will start Game 1 in Toronto.

After besting their state rivals in just five games, the Panthers will of course stick with Bobrovsky between the pipes for the opening game of their second round matchup against the Maple Leafs. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner dropped just a single game and posted a .904 SV% in round one, including a 26-save, series clinching effort in Game 5 on Wednesday. Despite having home-ice advantage and playing Game 1 in Toronto, the Maple Leafs enter Monday's contest as +112 underdogs against a Panthers team that beat them in five games in the second round in the 2022-23 playoffs.

Robertson (lower-body) was a full participant in practice on Monday but is still undecided on his status for Game 1.

Stars' head coach Pete DeBoer previously stated that he expects Robertson to play in Round 2 but could not confirm if that meant Game 1 or later in the series. Robertson has not played since the final game of the season when he exited the contest with a lower-body injury.

He is expected to be back for the beginning of training camp. The 26-year-old Bratt had an excellent season, scoring a career-high 88 points (21G / 67A) in 81 games. He has become a picture of consistency for the Devils, scoring 317 points (106G / 211A) in 321 games over the previous four seasons.

Hughes suffered an undisclosed injury in Game 1 of the playoffs and did not play the remaininder of the series. He underwent successful shoulder surgery and will likely be ready for the beginning of training camp. The 21-year-old Hughes had an impressive 2024-25 campaign with 44 points (7G / 37A) in 71 games.
