Minnesota has signed Zach Bogosian to a two-year, $2.5 million contract extension ($1,250,000 AAV).

Bogosian was acquired by the Wild from Tampa Bay in November earlier this season and will remain in Minnesota for at least two more years after signing a two-year, $2.5 million contract on Tuesday. The 33-year-old is in his 16th NHL season and has a goal and nine points in 43 games played in 2023-24.

The Hurricanes signed Max Comtois to a one-year contract.

Comtois has been playing with the Chicago Wolves (AHL), where he has 12 goals and 16 assists (28 points) in 45 games. His play earned him a contract with the Hurricanes through the rest of the 2023-24 season. HE last played with the Ducks in 2022-23, posting 19 points (9G / 10A) in 64 games.

Maxime Comtois
Los Angeles is signing Aaron Dell to a contract but had to place him on waivers on Monday first.

Dell has a 2.63 GAA and .906 SV% in five games (2-3-0) with the Ontario Reign (AHL) this season. His last appearance in the NHL was during a four-game stint with the San Jose Sharks in the 2022-23 campaign. Assuming he clears waivers, he will likely serve as a depth option for the Kings between the pipes.

Nashville has signed Tommy Novak to a three-year, $10.5 million contract ($3,500,000).

Novak's production has slipped slightly from the 43 points (17G / 26A) he posted in 51 games last season but has nevertheless been rewarded for another strong campaign. In 51 games this season, Novak has 34 points (13G / 21A) while most recently playing on a line with Mark Jankowski and Luke Evangelista.

The Canucks have signed Elias Pettersson to an eight-year contract extension worth $92.8 million ($11.6M AAV).

Pettersson is coming off of a three-year bridge deal that carried a $7.35M AAV cap-hit. The 25-year-old is on-pace for 99 points this season, after posting a career-best 102 points in 2022-23. In the last two seasons combined, Pettersson is tied for 7th in the NHL with 177 points (68G / 109A) in 142 games.

Nashville has signed Austin Roest to a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday.

Roest was the sixth-round pick (175th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and has earned himself a three-year, entry-level contract. The 20-year-old has 59 points (31G / 28A) in 54 games with the Everett Silvertips of the AHL.

New York has signed Connor Mackey to a two-year, contract extension.

Mackey played one game with the Rangers earlier this season but has spent the majority of the 2023-24 campaign with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), scoring 11 points (2G / 9A) in 36 games. The undrafted 27-year-old defenseman has played 40 career NHL games across stints with the Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, and Calgary Flames.

The New York Rangers have signed Johnny Brodzinski to a two-year contract extension worth $1.575 million ($787,500 AAV).

Brodzinski was having a terrific season with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), scoring 25 points (11G / 14A) in 16 games, resulting in his recall earlier this season. He's managed to be an effective offensive contributor at the NHL level and has been rewarded with a two-year $1.575 million contract extension. The 30-year-old has 15 points (4G / 11A) in 37 games with the Rangers this season.
