Rooney will make his season debut on Tuesday vs. Boston.

Rooney had an assist, 14 SOG, seven PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 17 games played with Calgary in 2022-23 but has been forced to miss all of the 2023-24 season thus far due to off-season shoulder surgery. He will make his season debut on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins.

Pulock is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play in Toronto on Monday.

Pulock suffered a lower-body injury on December 7th and has been on long-term injured reserve since. After missing 24 games, Pulock will draw back into the lineup on Monday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has six points (2G / 4A), 37 hits, and 66 blocks in 25 games this season.

Kuznetsov (personal) will be away from the team for an indefinite period to receive care from the Players Assistance Program.

Kuznetsov was absent from the Capitals' team practice Monday due to personal reasons and has announced that he will be away from the team for an indefinite period to receive care from the Players Assistance Program. The 31-year-old center has struggled offensively in 2023-24 as he is on pace for career lows in almost all categories after only collecting six goals, 17 points and 69 SOG in 43 games played before he stepped away.

Parise will make his Avalanche debut on Monday vs. the Rangers.

Parise was most recently with the Islanders in 2022-23, when he tallied 21 goals and 13 assists (34 points) in 82 games. The 18-year veteran has 879 career points (429G / 450A) in 1224 regular season games with the Wild, Devils and Islanders. Parise is expected to slot in on a line with Artturi Lehkonen and Ryan Johansen.

Kaliyev is listed as a scratch for Wednesday's game in Nashville.

Kaliyev will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday in order to make room for the return of Quinton Byfield (illness). Kaliyev has enjoyed a rather productive season considering his limited usage, registering six goals and eight assists in 38 games with an ATOI of 13:10.

Barrie will draw back into the Predators' lineup Wednesday vs. Los Angeles.

Barrie will return to the lineup on Wednesday for the first time in five games. Barrie has only played once since Christmas, on January 20th, recording two penalty minutes and one shot in 18:55 time-on-ice.

Hertl (undisclosed) will be out Tuesday vs. Seattle.

Hertl left the Sharks' contest Saturday vs. Buffalo after just 16:50 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will not play Tuesday after not practicing Monday. The 30-year-old's injury is not expected to be severe enough to hold him out from representing San Jose at the 2024 NHL All Star games after collecting 15 goals, 34 points, 113 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -26 plus/minus in 48 games prior to his injury.
