The 21-year-old Grebyonkin was the Maple Leafs' fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He is playing in his first professional season in North America and has zero points in seven games with the Maple Leafs, but he has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 13 games in the AHL with the Marlies.

Bichsel was the 18th overall pick of the Stars in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old defenseman is highly regarded in the Dallas system and could make his NHL debut with Matt Dumba battling an upper-body injury. Bichsel has nine points (3G / 6A) in 21 games with the Texas Stars (AHL) this season.

The Kraken recalled Winterton from Coachella Valley (AHL) on Wednesday.

Winterton has enjoyed a productive season in the AHL, registering 15 points in 16 games, though he's posted just a single assist across 15 career games with the Kraken. The former third-round draft pick of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft could slot into the lineup for Seattle's game against the Bruins on Thursday.

Friedman has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Friedman made his Canucks' season debut on Tuesday vs. St. Louis and played 14:49 TOI but has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL) as the team anticipates the return of Derek Forbert. Friedman returns to Abbotsford, where he has four points (1G/3A) and five PIMs in eight games played this season.

Cossa has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Cossa's reassignment to the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) likely indicates that Cam Talbot (lower body) is ready to return to the Red Wings' crease. The 22-year-old Cossa was the 15th overall pick of the Red Wings in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and is sporting a 2.21 GAA and .925 SV% in 14 games (9-4-1) with the Griffins (AHL) this season. He got his first taste of NHL action earlier this week, entering a contest in relief of Ville Husso, saving 12 of 14 shots (.857 SV%) in a shootout victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

Pelletier was the 26th overall pick of the Flames in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old has played 41 career NHL games, including scoring two points (1G / 1A) in four games this season. He has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, scoring 19 points (3G / 16A) in 20 games with the Calgary Wranglers.

DeSimone has been assigned to Utica (AHL).

DeSimone played 11 games with the Devils last season, scoring two points (1G / 1A), but has primarily been an AHL players, playing only 38 career NHL games since his professional debut in the 2016-17 season. In nine games with the Utica Comets (AHL) this season, the 29-year-old DeSimone has two points (0G / 2A) and a -10 plus/minus.

Greaves has been recalled from Cleveland on Wednesday.

Greaves' call-up could be an indication that Elvis Merzlikins or Daniil Tarasov are battling injuries but nothing has been announced yet. The 23-year-old Greaves served as a backup with Columbus earlier this season but has predominantly been in the AHL, recording a 3.21 GAA and .902 SV% in 15 games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL).

Smith was the 17th overall pick of the New Jersey Devils in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft but has had trouble establishing himself at the NHL level. The 24-year-old puck-moving defenseman has not played an NHL game since a nine-game stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2022-23 season.
