Svechnikov (upper-body) was a full participant in Monday's practice.

Svechnikov did not play in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings due to an upper-body injury but was back at practice on Monday. Over his previous five seasons, Svechnikov has 279 points (111G / 168A) in 324 games, a 0.86 point-per-game pace, but has not been able to maintain that production this season, with only 37 points (17G / 20A) through 52 games, a 0.71 point-per-game pace. The Hurricanes return to action on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets.

Bourque (upper-body) left Sunday's game vs. Columbus and did not return.

Bourque was hit in the face with a puck in the third period, leaving a pool of blood behind him before exiting the playing surface. Dallas head coach Pete DeBoer was optimistic after the game, indicating that the injury looked worse than it actually was.
